(Homework) Recycling should be Everyone's Duty

Nowadays we always hear the word “recycling” everywhere. A lot of us are interested in participating in recycling.
So, why should we recycling? Recycling basically reduces waste. It cuts down on the amount of rubbish that we created every day. This is important because our landfills are piling up with rubbish and soon there will be not enough places where we can dump more rubbish.
Recycling also helps to save the environment. When we throw away certain types of products, like for example plastic, we are causing pollution to the environment. Plastic cannot decay and it is going to be in the ground forever. We also save the number of trees being cut down when we recycle paper and paper products. Glass products are also cannot disintegrate in the ground. As for metal products such as aluminum drink cans and metal containers, they take ages to change into metal ores in the ground. Therefore, by recycling plastic bags, paper, aluminum cans, glass bottle and some other things, we are actually saving the environment.
Apart from saving the environment and reducing the amount of rubbish created, there are also other benefits to recycles. It reduces the amount of energy used to produce new item. By recycling, we can also earn some extra income. When we send recyclable products such as mention above to recycling centers, we will be paid for some cash.
As a conclusion, in order to save the environment that we are dependent on for our daily life, let us make recycling our duty. Start recycling today for a better future.

(Homework) Is Tuition a must to Score Good Grades?

In my opinion, we do not really need to go for tuition classes. Not only it is a waste of money, sometimes it can also be a waste of time. I hereby strongly think that tuition is not the only answer to attaining high grades.
First of all, we have to work harder and rely on our own effort. We need to pay attention in class when the teachers are teaching. We also have to complete all of our homework and if there is anything that we do not understand, we can look for our own teacher for consultation.
Furthermore, not all tuition teachers are good. In fact some of the tutor does not even have proper qualifications and is unable to answer difficult questions. Some of the tutor even purely works for money. Besides, they generally teach a big crowd of students. The noise and the number of students will make it even harder for us to concentrate.
In order to score well in examination, we need to manage our time properly. It is a bad habit to do the revision at the very last minutes. So I suggest that we have a timetable and plan our hours of study every day. A timetable helps us to manage our time and at the same time, show us clearly hoe much time we need got certain activities.
So if we can manage our time well and study hard, I believe that we do not need tuition in order to archive good grades in examination.

(Homework) My Hobby

I believe stamp collection is an educational as well as an inexpensive hobby. It is a hobby that people from any age group can have.
One of the advantages of collecting stamps is we can gain a lot of knowledge from it. Normally, stamps have pictures of the heads of states, or symbol of countries national characteristics. Every now and then a series of stamps are issued based on a certain themes such as flowers, fruits or buildings. By collecting these stamps we will learn a lot about another country.
Secondly, collecting stamps is an inexpensive hobby. We do not have to spend much money on it. We can always find friends who are interested in exchange stamps. We can even ask our neighbors who do not collect stamps for theirs. To collect stamps we do not need much equipment. All that we need is a proper album to keep the stamps. Make sure we keep the stamps safe as the longer we keep them the more valuable they become. Many stamp collectors keep their stamps especially rare stamps for many years as they can fetch very high price.
Hence, it is quite obvious that stamp collection is an ideal hobby.

(Homework) A Freak Accident

I sat on the back of the bus with a couple of friends. We were on our way to school. We were travelling along the main road that led to our school. Suddenly the bus lurched to one side! The next moment we were all either on the floor of the bus or desperately clinging to our seats.
I could hear screaming and yelling. I tried to stand up but i found it difficult. Then I realized that the bus was aslant at such an angle that we were almost stacked against the right side of the bus. Then we heard the bus driver shouting at us to get out. We scrambled out through all available exits including the windows. Soon all of us were out of the bus.
We stood on the road and gaped at the sight before us. The bus had fallen into a huge hole! Miraculously, none of us was badly hurt. The driver was worst off. He lost a tooth when he hit his face against the steering wheel.
We waited patiently while a passerby called for a tow-truck via his mobile telephone. After half an hour it arrived and soon that the bus was standing on the firm ground again. We climbed in and in while we arrived at our school. It was really a freak accident.

(Homework) Sympathy

Sympathy is common to all human beings. We feel sympathetic for someone when justice cannot prevail for him. Even if he has committed a crime, most people still show grief for the consequences a man has to face as he may be deprived of social status and opportunity because of a mistake that seems trivial in appearance. Yet people are least sympathetic towards human beings also. Most people show sympathy for other animals and plants falling victim to mankind's progress, seeing a distorted ladder leaning against the wrong wall. People do feel angry when they see droughts, earthquakes, political conflicts, or even massacres rupture humanity, but those are temporary problems that can be solved in a matter of time, whereas environmental problems may continue for decades and most people are truly sympathetic for the rights of countless living things they themselves are destroying.

Sympathy means a lot in our daily life. It motivates us to develop the capacity for helping the weak. But bear in mind that what the weak ones mostly crave is not emotional support, but realistic chances to stand on an equal level with their brothers to strive for a better future. Confucianism and other Chinese philosophies have adequate principles that can lead people to use sympathy in the best way. Sympathy plays an important role in improving the world.

(Homework) My Dream

I have a dream that one day I will have a large beautiful farm in Australia. I can keep a variety of animals on the farm, such as horses, cows, dogs, rabbits and so on. On a sunshine afternoon I ride on a strong horse and go to see the beautiful scenes outside. And I will plant all kinds of beautiful flowers around my house. Each season different flowers will come out. I am drawing a picture or doing some reading among the flowers, and smelling the sweet smell in the wind. Such is my dream for future, maybe it looks very common, but I really like it very much. For having a farm needs a lot of money, so I must be studying very hard now and working very hard when I get a job, so that I could earn enough money to make my dream come true.

(Homework) The Book That I Like

A lot of people ask me which book is my most favorite one, and I always proudly answer them "The Five Thousand Years History", which is all history about China.

This will be a long story for me to read this book. First time I touched this book is when I was 5 years old. My mother bought it to me as my 5-years-old gift. This is a really wonderful present to me, which is opening a history gate to me, a totally innocent boy. I almost forgot the dinner after I read the first page. From then on, I was the histories in my class and showed my knowledge from that book to my classmates. When I became older and older, I knew more about it and feel more confident about my own China. I am proud that I am a Chinese and I will make more effort to build a more powerful country and let Chinese history more brilliant.

As me, this is the most important book in my life and now I still read it and recite some part of it. I think everyone should read it and get this wonderful experience.

(Homework) Travel to the Forest

Have you ever been fed up with the boring life in the city? Should you be tired of the crowded roads and endless noises, you might want to have a glimpse of the primary forest with me.

As soon as you open the mysterious door of the forest, you may ask, “Have I entered the palace or the paradise?” The breath-taking scenery makes you forget everything but exploring what the forest has to offer. With tens of thousands of trees surrounding you, straight or winding, tall or short, you feel like floating on the ocean of green.

All kinds of fragrant flowers lie peaceful and shy under the leaves. Take a close look at them, and you can even see the fresh drops of water, which makes the flowers look like beautiful girls who have just had a bath. The most enjoyable thing is to feel the thick fog among the whole forest, which makes the view of the living creatures disappear at times. When the sun comes up, the fog rises at once .The dreaming image is then replaced by the lively scene. A wide variety of birds are singing happily in the trees. Lots of little animals are running busily across the paths. Wander in the forest; you will have the feeling of returning to nature.

Well, in addition to enjoying the scenery on the ground, keep an eye out for the sky! The clear blue with pure white will give your eyes a feast.

(Homework) My First Day at School

My mother accompanied me to school on the first day. Other parents accompanied their children as well. We all waited in front of the school office.

Soon a teacher came and led us to some classrooms. There we were put into four separate classes. This was when some children began to cry as the parents were not allowed into the classrooms. I did not cry because I had been to kindergarten before. Actually my mother went home soon after for she knew I would be all right.

It was an enjoyable time for me as I got to know my new classmates. The teacher was very busy writing down our particulars so we had plenty of time to ourselves. Meantime some children continued to sob while their parents looked in anxiously through the windows. Soon recess came. Some of us headed for the tuck-shop while the rest headed for their parents. I bought a drink with the money my mother gave me. Getting to know my new friends had made me thirsty.

After recess we went back to our classroom and my new friends and I managed to coax two boys to stop crying. In fact, soon we were laughing and playing together. Once in a while the teacher had to tell us to keep quiet as we were making too much noise. Still some parents looked in anxiously through the windows.

Finally the bell rang for us to go home. Some of us were very relieved to be reunited with our parents. I too was glad to see my mother waiting for me at the school gate. I had made many friends. It had been a wonderful first day at school.
